Sulfur Books at 18 East Main Street is back open 5 days a week! Stop by Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to find new and used nonfiction, fiction, young adult, middle readers, and children's books. Now through October 31, all Halloween books are 30 percent off! Also 30 percent off are select children's and middle reader books. For 15% off select fiction and nonfiction books, look for a brightly colored bookmark!
You can also now support Sulfur Books by signing up for an audiobook membership through!
Unlike Audible, which is owned by Amazon, members choose to support local bookstores right in their communities through their audiobook purchases and memberships. When you make the audiobook switch from Audible to, you’ll support Sulfur Books and get two audiobooks for the price of one when you start your membership (use the code SWITCH). An audiobook membership is also a perfect gift idea for the holiday season!
Looking for specific books for holiday gift giving? October is the new December! Due to unprecedented demand on the supply chain from the pandemic, we strongly encourage you to order any books for the holiday season as soon as possible. Come see what we have in-store and if there's something you don't see, remember, we can order just about anything! Online ordering is still available as well.

Because our work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and thanks to our network of 10,000+ volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at a very low cost.
