On Saturday, July 19, 2025 Trident United Way's PULSE hosted Pathways to Empowerment: Bloom Boldly. Over 30 young women were in attendance to learn from five amazing community leaders who shared their real-life successes, setbacks and unique career paths. The attendees were able to ask questions, share thoughtful insights in breakout sessions and leave feeling inspired to bloom in today's world.

| | Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation Awards Grant to Trident United Way | | |
Trident United Way has received $3,300 from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation to help nourish neighbors experiencing hunger. The “Nourishing Our Neighbors” grant supports community feeding partners as they tackle food insecurity and promote healthier lifestyles through nutritional education initiatives.

Everyone needs a will, whether they’re 18 or 80. National Make-A-Will Month is the perfect time to plan for the future and support the people and causes you care most about.
During the month of August, we will be sending out emails with helpful information and a free online will-writing tool, FreeWill, so that you can prepare for the future and protect your assets.

Ready, Set, Thrive Packing Day: Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 9:00am - 2:00pm at Southeastern Freight 140 Business Park Rd Summerville, SC 29483 United States.

We can't wait to see all our amazing volunteers gather to pack backpacks containing critical school supplies for students at Chicora Elementary, River Oaks Middle, Cross High and unhoused students served through the McKinney-Vento Program in Berkeley County! Our goal is to pack 2,000 backpacks in just 4 hours. In between the two packing shifts, volunteers will be celebrated with a cookout hosted by the generous team at Southeastern Freight.
- This event is organized by Trident United Way’s PULSE and Young Leaders United programs with support from Women United.
