COVID Impact Survey (5-Minutes)
During this unprecedented time, your GHBA TEAM is hard at work (from home) to protect the industry and to keep you informed as the situation progresses.

But it feels like we're doing all the talking. So now, we want to hear from you!

Please take this 5-minute survey to help us gauge the local impact of COVID-19 on the industry. We will use this information to shape our conversations with local government entities and to provide the best member services over the coming weeks. Take the survey

Homebuilders Rally to Donate PPE to Health Care Industry
More than 3,000 masks and 1,500 eye protection units have been donated locally to-date!

With the shortage of masks and eye protection among healthcare workers continuing at a crisis level, the building industry has stepped up to assist in donating masks, eye protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE).

Locally, HomeAid Houston is working with David Weekley Homes and BMC in organizing the local efforts.

With the help of Leading Builders of America and Greater Houston Builders Association members, more than 3,000 masks and 1,500 eye protection units have been donated locally to-date. Nationally, more than 150,000 units that include both masks and eye protection have been collected.

The supplies were donated to Kaiser Permanente in Richmond / Rosenberg with others going to a clinic in the Fort Bend County area that is working with non-insured individuals. More info

PRISM Judging Goes Virtual
Unique circumstances call for creative solutions. The COVID-19 situation presents some challenges to in-person judging of the 2020 Houston's Best PRISM Awards, slated for early summer. But, as they say, the show must go on!

In consideration of the health and safety of our judges, members and homeowners living in the entry homes, the PRISM Committee is working diligently to enable 100% online judging for this year's awards show. Watch for more details coming soon.
2020 Scholarship Applications Open
GHBA's Scholarship Program, presented annually by the Associate Council, provides assistance to members' children in pursuing a college degree. These scholarships are made possible through the donations of generous association members.

Can you help? Donations of any size are encouraged and appreciated. Every penny goes directly to student scholarships. It's also tax deductible!

Is your son or daughter a college student or a college-bound high school senior? Apply for the 2020 scholarship!
Deadline Friday, May 1
