In Memoriam – Patricia A. Atkin

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news about Pat Atkin, 94, who died Sunday, May 15th at her home in Noroton, Connecticut. Pat was an art teacher at Tokeneke School in Darien for 30 years as well as a renowned artist and potter. She was on the Board of Directors of the Silvermine Arts Center, and for the last 10 years of her life, an active member of the Boards of the Darien Arts Center and of the Rowayton Arts Center. Here she is with her stoneware sculpture "Three" in the RAC gallery during the 2019 Spring Juried Show. She once said about her love of ceramics, "you can't plan anything."
