2016 FUNDING CELEBRATION AND MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE DEC 1
TELL A FRIEND, BRING A FRIEND
As Thanksgiving is fast approaching, so too is the close of our membership recruitment season. To us, membership numbers are not just about us. Every member who joins contributes to the vitality of our region and the well-being of our neighbors. Our members are the heart and soul of Impact , and to date they have contributed over $1.65 million dollars to our community.

Help
us reach the $2 million dollar mark by joining today. Impact 100 offers you [our members] an opportunity to be involved in the health of the Philadelphia region like no other organization. Your member contribution is not just your donation, but is Your Voice, Your Impact.

If every current member brings one additional member this year, the ripple effect of our grants will be tremendous. So please tell a friend about Impact100 Philadelphia and bring that friend, as a new member, to our Funding Celebration on December 16, 2015. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Our membership deadline is Monday, December 1!  You can JOIN NOW. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at info@impact100philly.org or members@impact100philly.org

Please join us in making a difference! Thank you to those who already have contributed to the power of collective giving. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
HELP IMPACT100 FLOURISH IN 2016
PLEASE HELP US MEET OUR GOAL

It's well known that many members support us through in-kind donations of their time and talent, without which we could not exist! You may be surprised to discover that each year Impact100 also needs about $150 per member in operating funds to deliver our joint mission of educating women about philanthropy and funding our nonprofit community.  Join the 65% of members who added operating funds to their membership contributions this year. DONATE NOW

APPLICANTS GATHER, LEARN ABOUT THE GRANT CYCLE
GRANT APPLICATION INFORMATION SESSION

Late last month, 140 nonprofit organizations gathered in Center City to hear an overview of Impact100's application process. The information session was generously hosted by Klehr, Harrison, Harvey, Branzburg, LLP.

Since 2009, the Grant Applicant Information Session has been held each fall to answer applicants' questions about preparing their initial Letters of Inquiry -- the first step in Impact's grant-making process. The deadline for Letters of Inquiry is January 4, 2016. An important change this year is the requirement that all applicants have their own 501(c)(3); it is not permissible to apply under the tax-exempt status of an umbrella or other organization.

SHARED PROSPERITY AT FALL'S EDUCATION EVENT
IMPACT MEMBERS HEAR FROM EVA GLADSTEIN

Poverty is an intractable problem for large urban areas, and sadly, Philadelphia top the PEW Foundation's list of the 10 poorest, largest cities in the country. Aware of the enormous challenges facing the city, Impact100 Philadelphia invited Eva Gladstein to headline our Fall Education Event on Wednesday evening, Nov. 4 at Blank, Rome LLP in Center City.

Gladstein, Executive Director of the   Mayor's Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) , was charged by Mayor Nutter in January 2013 with sharpening the city's focus on persistent poverty by collaborating with stakeholders and broadening access to resources of all types - job training and education; legal, housing and financial help; food stamps; and early learning and child care programs. Signs show this effort is steadily having an impact. Learn More.
