Trident United Way Receives $87,500 Grant from Truist Foundation to Support Financial Stability for Tri-County Workforce

Trident United Way is proud to announce it has received a grant of $87,500 from Truist Foundation to support Pathways to Stability, an innovative program that helps workers stay on the job during financial hardships while also helping local businesses keep employees on staff and boost productivity.


The grant was celebrated with a check presentation at Trident United Way’s offices in North Charleston where Truist teammates, including Mark Lattanzio, Coastal Market President and Trident United Way board member, joined to share more about the initiative’s community impact.

Ready, Set, Thrive School Support Drive: Hosted by Trident United Way PULSE and Young Leaders United, this drive supports local students with food, hygiene products, clothing and school supplies.

  • Packing day: Saturday, August 9th, 2025
  • Schools supported: Chicora Elementary, River Oaks Middle, Cross High, and McKinney-Vento students in Berkeley County.
