Join us in Prayer

God of love, gather all people as one human family.
Guide our community, our country, and the world.
Help us to be kind to all people, creatures, and the earth.
Be with all people who are sad, in need, or any trouble.
Comfort those who are sick or recovering from illness. Amen

Vacation Bible School To Go!
We are so excited about our VBS to Go this summer! We really miss seeing you at our usual VBS, but these kits will provide fun including learning about some very special people, Saints. We call our program Saints- Our Super Heroes. We’ll even include crafts, service projects, and snacks! Please check out the details below.

Christian Formation for Children is excited to announce that VBS to Go kits will be available for children ages 3-rising fifth grade beginning July 16th-July 17th or later by other arrangements. We have some amazing Saints to introduce to your children and, along with short biographies, we’ll include crafts to go along with each. (Parents of younger children will need to assist with these crafts.) Also, there will be service components in each kit. Please let us know if you’re interested in your child being a part of VBS to Go by  emailing us  with your name and your child’s name, his/her age, and a cell number.
Please specify a pick-up time in your email:
July 16 3-4 pm
July 17 9-10 am
If neither of these times works, let us know so we can make other arrangements. The deadline for ordering a kit is July 10th.
Who Likes Doughnuts?
I do, I do and I also love this story, Arnie the Doughnut by Laurie Keller. Check out this link to hear the story and to learn how a doughnut and a man who loves to eat doughnuts solve a problem. This is a delicious story about friendship!

Ways Kids Can Help Our Community

There are people who live in our community who need a little extra help in getting through this time. Kids can help you pick out and deliver the following items to the bins set out in the Preschool portico.

  • Canned goods or toiletries
  • New or gently used board or card games or activities that families can enjoy together
  • Letters and/or art work which will be delivered to people who need cheering up. They can be signed: from a friend at All Saints Episcopal Church and put in a manila envelope or a Zip Lock Bag. This is where kids can really dig in and help. Find a cool place to spend a hot afternoon and color away! Here is a link for some coloring pages your kids can use to include in the letters.

We are also collecting food for the Welborne Food Pantry. They are serving over 100 families each week and their demand is continuing to grow. Currently they are in desperate need of: instant mashed potatoes, grape jelly and spaghetti sauce. These items can also be left in the preschool portico. Thank you!
  • The Sunday Paper Junior (ages 3 to 10) can be downloaded below. It's a great tool to use on Sundays to help explain the readings (usually the Gospel). The Sunday Paper (Junior)
