Honoring our dedicated board members
For more than 76 years, Trident United Way has relied on community leaders to guide us through all sorts of unique situations and find innovative ways to serve.
This year we pass the chairman's gavel to
Tim Grow of Elliott Davis. It is a yearly tradition to name a new chairman to give us unique perspectives and new ideas to push us to new heights.
Our Lane Family Boardroom has a running list of board chairs on the wall since our inception in 1944. It is a "who’s who" list of dedicated Tri-County citizens who have given of their time and talents to make our community a better place.
This year we have more than 35 board members who represent industries, sectors and communities from across the Tri-County. We do not have enough space to name them all here, so please click
this link to see the list of special people who believe in our mission.
Since it’s football season, imagine the strength of having Tom Brady, Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney, George Rogers, Bill Belichick and Peyton Manning all on your team. That’s the honor we receive in the form of committed leaders who do this on a volunteer basis.
UNITED we will continue to bring together people and partners to do things that no single organization can for our community.
Board members, corporate partners, community volunteers and donors are all in this together to make the Tri-County a better place. We are so privileged to have such thoughtful and giving people leading the way. It is a true joy to benefit from their diverse and informed perspectives.
