Coming Up at the Library
DID YOU KNOW? We've always had access to materials from throughout the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium, but the new Overdrive Reciprocal Lending Agreement now lets you borrow e-books and digital audiobooks from all over the state! Find out more about how this expands the number of books and authors you can borrow and download!
Changes to normal library hours:
The library will be closed on Sundays through Columbus Day starting May 26
The library will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27
REACT to LGBTQ+ Civil Rights
The Civic Engagement REACT Program is brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Events for Kids and Teens
We've got a new monthly newsletter just for kids, teens, and their families! Sign up here to find out early about what's going on and when to sign up for fun activities.
Have you ever dreamed of being a Jedi? Meet professional combat instructor Dan Burns-McKernan and learn to use the Force and wield a lightsaber like Luke Skywalker, Rey, or even Darth Vader! For ages 12 and up, registration is required and space is limited!
Foam weapons will be used, and participants or their parent/guardian must sign a waiver prior to participation.

A very special storytime especially for dads and children ages 2 and up (moms and other caregivers are always welcome). Today, we will read stories all about ducks and ducklings, and then a librarian will guide your family to the annual Rotary Duck Race with lots of music and fun!

What are you reading lately? We want to know! Come by the library to have a snack & share your current favorite book! Bring a friend or meet some fellow readers!

This program is for grades 5+ or homeschool equivalent. Registration is required.
Friends of the Library
Book Sale Update
The Friends would like to thank all the dedicated volunteers who helped throughout the year to sort and price books, as well as those who organized and participated in setting up the sale, and spent hours at the gym selling the books! Thanks also to everyone who donated the great selection of books and to those who bought them, making the sale a success and raising $9000 for the library!

Trustee News
Welcome our new trustee!

Katy Wood Van Dyne has been elected to serve from 2019-2022 and will act as the Correspondence Secretary for the Board. She's a frequent library user and has been active in the town for many years!
Impact Fund Update!
We've now raised $34,783.22 for the library's  Impact Fund ! We continue to work towards our goal of $75,000 to fund a mobile Pop-up Library van. Make your impact today to help us take library resources to every corner of our community!
