In March, my newsletter was about:

“Data Privacy – STOP Your Personal Info Being Sold to Data Brokers on Internet” and "How to Delete Your Information From People-Search Sites. ”

As a recap, the article attached in the March newsletter explained how the “Data Brokers” operate and also gave information how to keep your personal information private or delete it.

A client of mine, Michael G. , wrote me and shared some information about a program called “CCleaner.” This program is free and once downloaded will clean up your computer and trackers for FREE.

Michael suggests to use CC Cleaner {Free} just before you turn off your computer for the day.

When Michael looked at his Facebook account he found about half a dozen websites including Walmart and Home Depot with over 3000 trackers tracking him. He also mentioned that his bank and his credit cards had about 689 Trackers.

The Do-It-Yourself approach of removing your information from these sites is time-consuming. If you want to pay a service to take care of it for you, there are options available.

Taking multiple drugs increases your risk for falls, confusion and other serious side effects

Medication overload can have serious consequences. Certain medications (like antidepressants and corticosteroids) can cause cognitive problems that mimic dementia.

An annual review of medications with your main physician is recommended. Bring all of your medications including over-the-counter medicines and vitamins. Talk to your doctor about potential interactions and which drugs you may no longer need.

Dr Lon Schneider says “"There's a perception that all over-the-counter medications are as safe as water, but that's just not true. Antihistamines, anticholinergics and sleep aids are just as potent over the counter as they are by prescription, and they are big contributors to this issue.”
