We are pleased to award the McNairy County April Business of the Month to Home Banking Company. Since 1915 this business has been providing support to the citizens of McNairy County and the surrounding counties. With five locations in and around McNairy County they serve and contribute to a wide area. Home Banking Company is a leader in the communities they serve in things such as economic development, civic clubs, school sponsorship, and charity events just to name a few. The McNairy County Chamber of Commerce is proud to award the April Industry of the month award to Pickwick Electric Cooperative. PEC has been serving the residents of McNairy County since 1935. PEC serves approximately 20,600 members with nearly 2,437 miles of electric lines. The employees at PEC from the front office, to the ones out braving the elements working to keep your lights on are committed to serving the counties they cover in a safe and professional manner. PEC is a proud supporter of area schools, civic clubs, city festivals, and fundraisers just to name a few. They have partnered with the Cities of Adamsville and Selmer to reduce light pollution, conserve energy, and save taxpayers valuable dollars in the future by replacing street lights in each town with new LED lighting. PEC is one of our greatest assets in McNairy County , and they play a valuable part in our overall economic development efforts.
