THE REALTOR® DIFFERENCE

PRACTICAL SKILLS SERIES STARTS TODAY!

The REALTOR® Difference

As members of the National Association of REALTORS®, we are unified by the REALTOR® brand and our iconic trademark R. It’s who we are – and it’s important for consumers to understand that distinction. NAR has an award-winning national advertising campaign to differentiate and elevate the REALTOR® brand with consumers. But, what are WE saying to clients to engage in that conversation and articulate our value? Consumers should also learn that value directly from REALTORS®, and in a consistent way.

As a result, the National Association of REALTORS® developed language and supporting assets at TheDifference.realtor to help you, and every NAR member succinctly

articulates the REALTOR® difference. Please leverage these tools with your current and future clients – share them on your website, on social, in your profile and bio, at the bottom of emails, and more.

Distinguish yourself by sharing the value of the REALTOR® brand, which unites us all, so consumers understand the REALTOR® difference.

Leslie Rouda Smith

2022 NAR® President

Practical Skills Series Courses Start Today!

The association will be offering the Practical Skills Series Courses starting on September 26th, 2022 and they will continue every Monday for the next four weeks.

These courses are incredible opportunities for new REALTORS® and seasoned REALTORS®. With market changes and updates that keep you on your toes, our instructors are here to guide you through with their 95+ years of combined experience.

The first course will be held today at

9:00 AM and will get out at 1:00 PM. It will be taught by Melissa McKinney and will provide information on how to attract buyers, what to do with them after you've added them to your list, how to successfully "house hunt," and how to consult your client once they've found their dream home.

We hope to see you in the classroom! Click Here for More Details

Regional REALTOR® Rally 2022 Recap

On Tuesday, September 20th, at 9:00 AM the registration opened and REALTORS® from all over the region gathered at the Crown Expo Center to meet and mingle with individuals who represented a variety of real estate needs.

The REALTOR® rally boasted over 36 booths representing companies from all over the area. The door prizes were awash with doggie toys, cash, and even an iPad. We want to say thank you to everyone who was there and supported our sponsors this year.

The speaker this year was Terry Watson who was, to say the least, an experience! A few highlights from the second session "Afterburn" include the following: Successful people operate under the idea of "first principles." A good strategy is to value experience over service because anyone can forget a service but they might find it harder to forget an experience. He was also very adamant about the need to stop being so reasonable as being reasonable will cause your brain power to be exploited by those in the world who are unreasonable. It was an incredible session with a wealth of laughs and information.

We hope to see you at next year's Regional REALTOR® Rally and thank everyone who made the event possible with their commitment to this event for all the REALTORS® in our region.
