SARRC Social Challenges Screening Project
Last year, Arete Prep began work on a project in partnership with the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) on universal screening for social challenges in public schools. The idea is that screening children for social challenges such that we can identify and address them early will have a significant positive effect on their school experience. This year, we plan to take another step in this project, and a larger role in the research that SARRC is doing on the positive impact of universal screening in schools. We invite you to a Q & A session with the Headmaster, Great Hearts’ Director of Exceptional Student Services, and a representative from SARRC on
Friday, February 8 at 8:30 am. At this session you will hear more about the work that happened last year and the new dimensions that the project will take in the future.
