Membership Meetings to Attend this Week
This week Longleaf Pine REALTORS® is having two meetings for the membership. The first to take place will be for the members in Sanford at the Hampton Inn at 1904 S. Horner Blvd, Sanford, NC. It will start at 11:00 am. The second meeting will be for the entirety of the membership at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Richard M. Wiggins Conference Center at 4760 Lake Valley Drive, Fayetteville, NC. It will begin at 10:00 am. These meetings are to discuss topics such as the upcoming Data-Share, Free CE, and the upcoming Holiday Mingle. Both events will be offered as in-person and online

Donate Toys for Tots this year at the Office
This year’s annual campaign begins on October 1, 2021, and local businesses are instrumental in the success of the Marine Toys for Tots program. It’s a way you can give back to your community and to its less fortunate children. You can support Marine Toys for Tots by donating a new, unwrapped toy at a toy collection site near you, or by helping us with toy collection, sorting, and distribution.
Helping to coordinate special toy raising functions is another way of getting involved.

You can generate or purchase media attention for the program, sponsor a toy raising event, supply an essential service like providing meals for volunteers or transportation to drop off or pick up toys, or simply allow your place of business to be a toy drop off location. Longleaf Pine REALTORS® is one of those drop-off spots. Swing by 2412 Raeford Road with new, unwrapped toys to donate the entire month of October.
 
The important thing is we are local people helping local families. This is the Christmas mission of your Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots.

Fulfill NAR's Code of Ethics Training Requirement with C2EX
Did you know that completing and maintaining your C2EX endorsement is equivalent to completing NAR's Code of Ethics training requirement? Earn your endorsement by Dec. 31, 2021, to fulfill the requirement for the current cycle.

Government Affairs Update
Angie Hedgepeth, Government Affairs Director for the Association, attends all the local meetings each month, as well as NAR and NCAR meetings, and keeps members abreast of the multiple issues being addressed in local, state, and national government. She prepares reports on the meetings she attends and they are included in the monthly “Government Affairs Update”. Look for updates on laws that will affect YOUR industry this year!
