I have been coaching entrepreneurs in how to write a book that enhances their credibility and cements them as an authority in their field. Now, I can also coach them on how to speak about it. Or, I can coach you in developing a keynote speech using the Craig Valentine method, then help you to develop a book on the same topic.
Having been a professional writer and editor for more than 35 years, I have the credentials to teach and coach writing. In fact, I have known since I was 7 years old that I wanted to be a professional writer.
But I had no such dream to be a professional speaker. I only began speaking professionally when I founded Consistent Voice Communications. I had to speak if I was to make any money.
So I understand the symmetry between writing and speaking and decided to enroll in The World Class Speaking Coach Certification Program™ to learn how to coach speakers. The 12-week program was grueling, but inspiring.
There's a lot of symmetry between coaching someone to write a nonfiction book and a keynote speech. The structure is very similar as are the processes.
