YOUR ACTION IS NEEDED NOW!
Dear Members,

The big insurance companies have requested that North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey increase homeowners’ insurance rates by a staggering 25 percent.

This proposed increase impacts you, it impacts your clients and it will be significantly detrimental to an already struggling economy. You can help stop this rate increase but you must act now!

Please tell Commissioner Causey to protect North Carolina homeowners and the real estate industry by OPPOSING the proposed rate increase!

Weekly Economic Update from NAR®
Home sales increased by 27% year over year in October and buyer demand remains strong. Favorable low mortgage rates are offset by continued low inventory, and home prices are up 15.5%. Investors could unload their properties and home builders should build more new homes to create more inventory.

Toys for Tots Support
Toys for Tots is looking for businesses and Individuals to help collect and donate this year.

You can support Toys for Tots by donating a new, unwrapped toy at a toy collection site near you, or by assisting us with toy collection, sorting, or distribution. Helping to coordinate special toy raising functions is another way of getting involved.
Local businesses are instrumental in the success of the Toys for Tots program. You can generate or purchase media attention for the program, sponsor a toy raising event, provide an essential service like printing or transportation, or simply allow your place of business to be a toy drop off location.

Please contact Tiffany Jones if you or your local organization or business is interested in supporting our mission this holiday season at 910-479-4106 or cumberland.county.nc@toysfortots.org
