Greetings Shooters!

The 35th Annual Fall Championship is in the books!

Thank you to everyone in attendance! Our attendance was up 22% over last years Fall Championship and there were many new faces on the range including, but not limited to, the ladies shooting team from Flagler Gun Club, the Flagler Fillies, as well youth shooters from Flagler and Eustis!

Before I go any further, I wanted to take a moment and say thank you to the following folks for helping make this weekend successful.

Scarlett Ehlers, Karen Harrington, Scot Lauderback, Jim Cummings, Mike Reynolds, Denise Reynolds, Bill Miller, Diane Foster, the Singing Ladies Behind the Counter, the scorekeepers and target loaders, The Friendly Greek Food Truck, Mike who volunteered to run the grill on Saturday (so sorry I can't remember your last name), and Brent Miller

I apologize to anyone I missed!

Fall Championship Results

Hurricane Rafael ended up exiting stage left luckily, but a side effect was that the targets were "sporty" to say the least. Even so there were still some impressive feats accomplished.

Now I may be a bit part partial here, but in my eyes, the most impressive display was from a performance in Scots Goofy Game. That shooter just happens to be my wife, Karen Harrington, who went 30 out of 30 in near darkness to take the top spot. She was followed by Rick Manning taking second, Victor Fluxa in third, and Nancy Patterson firing her way to fourth.

Lew Carns was the Singles Champion, I forgot all of my bad habits and took home the Doubles Championship, and once again, Bill Bezubiak is our Handicap Champion.
