FBCA UPDATES

Youth Pastor Search Committee Update

The Youth Pastor Search Committee has been diligently reviewing resumes and has identified a

strong candidate. They have conducted several group interviews with him and are now in the

process of checking his references and background. Please join us in prayer that the Lord’s will

be done as they move closer to making a recommendation for our next Youth Pastor.

Pastor Search Committee Update

The Committee on Committees has been prayerfully seeking and confirming a diverse group of

church members willing to serve on the Pastoral Search Committee. They are currently awaiting

one final confirmation. Once confirmed, the committee will be officially selected, and we will

hold a Called Church Conference for ratification. Following ratification, the committee will

undergo a training session with Chuck Beem of the Gulf Coast Baptist Association before

beginning the process of seeking the man God has chosen as our next pastor. We appreciate your

patience, as this is a process that takes time and discernment.

Children’s Director Search Update

The Personnel Committee is currently working on finalizing a clear and precise job description

for the Children’s Director position. Once completed and approved, the search for a Children’s

Director will begin. In the meantime, our Children’s Ministry Committee continues to faithfully

oversee the ministry. Please pray with us as we seek the full-time Children’s Director whom the

Lord has prepared for this role.

Sincerely,

Danny Todd

Deacon Chairman

A Memo from the Financial Committee

The Finance Committee would like to take a moment to emphasize the importance of selecting the option to cover credit card fees when donating online. Doing so helps ensure that your full contribution goes directly to supporting our church’s ministry and operations, minimizing the impact of processing fees on our budget.

As you may know, the church body voted in a business conference that this fee should be the responsibility of the individual and not covered by the church. If the box is not checked, the church is required to absorb this cost, which places an unexpected burden on our budget and limits our ability to allocate funds to other essential designated areas.

If you have automatic payments set up, please take a moment to update your account and check the box to cover the processing fee. By doing so, you are helping us be faithful stewards of our church’s resources and honoring the decision made by our congregation.

We truly appreciate your attention to this matter and your continued commitment to supporting the financial health of our church. Thank you for your generosity and dedication!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any member of the finance committee:

Christina Todd, David Gregory, Larry Watson, Mike Glazer, Ronnie Alexander
