Four Prayers for the Fourth of July

1. Gratitude for Freedom

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." — 2 Corinthians 3:17

Almighty God, we thank You for the gift of freedom that we celebrate. May we never take it for granted and always remember the sacrifices made for our liberty. Bless our nation and guide us in Your ways. Amen.

2.Unity and Peace

"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." — Ephesians 4:3

Lord, we pray for unity and peace in our country. Help us to come together despite our differences and work towards a common good. Let Your love be the bond that unites us ALL. Amen.

3.Harmony Among Us

"How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" — Psalm 133:1

Lord, we ask for harmony among ALL people in our nation. Help us to see beyond our differences and work together for the common good. May Your peace reign in our hearts and communities. Amen.

4.Unity in Diversity

"There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are ALL one in Christ Jesus." — Galatians 3:28

Dear God, we celebrate the diversity within our nation and ask that You help us to embrace it. May we find unity in our shared values and love for one another. Amen.
