Over the last several years Longleaf Pine MLS has been working to expand our service area and lower member costs. Along the way, we have discovered some interesting information.

Longleaf Pine MLS is the 119th largest MLS in the United States. We have learned that the Longleaf Pine MLS covers about 20 counties in Southeastern North Carolina and is the 119th largest MLS out of 565 MLS's in the country. The greatest number of closings are concentrated in Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, and Moore Counties.

Practical Skills Series is Back from August 31st-Sepember 9th
If you missed your chance to take the last round of practical skills, the opportunity has risen again. This four-course series teaches all agents the roles, responsibilities, and knowledge necessary for every REALTOR® to have a successful and growing business. In Buyers Selling Skills, you can join the Association's Education Chair as she goes through the most effective way to market, show, and sell properties to buyers. In Listing
Strategies, you can join the Association's 2021 President-Elect as she walks through her listing process, giving you some of the best ways to stay excited about your listings. In Contracts, you can look no further than Scott and Soni, MLS Chair as they take you through line by line of all the documents needed to close. Lastly, in From Contract to Closing you can join our Public Relations Chair as she walks you through the different responsibilities as a Seller's agent and Buyer's after the contracts have been signed. Government Affairs Update
Angie Hedgepeth, Government Affairs Director for the Association, attends all the local meetings each month, as well as NAR and NCAR meetings, and keeps members abreast of the multiple issues being addressed in local, state, and national government. She prepares reports on the meetings she attends and they are included in the monthly “Government Affairs Update”. Look for updates on laws that will affect YOUR industry this year!
