From Pastor Dinger
I have been trying to get to know you over the past few months, but there are several hundred of you and just one of me. I want to get connected with you and so help us all get connected to each other. So, we have come up with a plan to help me learn your names and faces a little faster. We will have a raffle over the next month for those that submit a picture of themselves. You don’t have to get dressed up, or use a fancy camera. A cellphone picture will be great. At the end of May we will have a drawing for all those who have submitted a picture for a $100 Walmart gift card . My goal is that everyone will submit a picture and so have a chance at winning, but even more help us get connected to each other.
Please submit all photos to office@timothystl.org along with your full name and a preferred name that you use.

To my Timothy Family,
My dear mom, Edith Baumgartner, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019. Please join our family and friends at a service to celebrate her life on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 4 pm here at Timothy Lutheran Church. The service will be joyous and filled with song and scripture. Please also join us for dinner in the church gymnasium for supper following the service. There is nothing my mom appreciated more....worshiping her Lord and Savior and enjoying a meal with family and friends. God bless,

Notes from the April Council Meeting
1. Timothy's solar panels have been purchased. Up until now they had been leased through the company providing the panels. Council voted to utilize funds from the Memorial Fund to pay for the panels.
2. Council approved a new Bequest Policy to establish guidelines for receiving and maintaining unrestricted funds donated from estates. This policy will help Church Council appropriately manage the funds and give the Council flexibility to respond to immediate and long-term needs of the church at the time the bequest is received.
3. Timothy church member, Matt Gerzevske, will be attending Concordia Seminary in Fall 2019. Council voted to give $2,000 per year to assist Matt with funds needed to attend Seminary. The funds will be taken from the Ministry Endowment and Memorial Funds.
4. Currently there are 152 registered voters at Timothy.
