At Timothy:
“God With Us” is the theme of our Advent Services this year!  We are making some changes to the Advent schedule this year. We will continue to have an evening meal and service at 7:00 p.m.  We are adding a service at 4:30 p.m.  This will enable the “early service” worshippers to share the Advent meal and fellowship with those who attend the “late” service. At 11 a.m. we will continue to have a shortened Advent worship and Sing-a-long for those who need to travel during daylight hours.

Many Thanks… to all the many people who worked together and so diligently this past weekend to make our events so successful. Thank you to the people who worked months ahead in preparation for the Christmas Market. Much planning happened before the event so that everything was in place on that day. Thanks to those who set up the tents, tables and chairs, and then tore them down after the event. Thanks to those who had booths. We pray that we successfully showed the love of Jesus to our neighborhood. Thank you to those who worked hard on Sunday to make Pastor Dinger’s installation service and celebration a success. From the first note that was played until the final amen, the installation service was a beautiful and glorious representation of our diversity and love for the Lord. The dinner was delicious and well prepared by lots of hands in the kitchen and serving the food, setting up the room and cleaning up afterward. And then the elders and friends brought in the tree and decorated it and the church so beautifully. We have much to be thankful for this Advent season.
Gift and Card Trees are in the narthex. Please stop by and pick up a star (to bring a gift) or a set of labels (to send cards) to our Timothy shut-ins. They always appreciate it.

Poinsettias are available this Christmas season. You may take them home after the New Year. Sign-up sheets are in the two entryways. They are available for $12 each. Please make checks payable to Timothy.
