PRISM Cincinnati's annual publication will mark its 34th year of production in 2023!
This year, my goal is to expand our resources section to include any and all LGBTQ+ owned businesses. (In the past, we have included mostly doctors, clubs, churches, those kinds of things.) It's a big goal, and it will take a lot of help! If you know of a business that hasn't been included in our free resource section in the past, please send details to thecincinnatilistings@gmail.com. As much detail as possible is appreciated! We will separate the businesses into sections like "banking" or "contractors" etc.
The resource section is funded by the front part of the booklet, the ad section. Each full-color ad comes with a complimentary, year-long membership in PRISM and the option to advertise in our monthly eblast. All PRISM memberships come with a linked logo on our website. Check out the current edition of The Listings and our membership here!
Sales begin today, February 6, and will continue through March 20.
Use this link to review pricing/sizing options, submit your ad reservation, or make a payment. PDFs of artwork and logos can be emailed to thecincinnatilistings@gmail.com.
With thanks,
-Alynn Rousselle

Music at the Movies
February 10 + 11
Music at the Movies explores the special bond between Motion Picture and popular song, which together have helped define American Culture since the early 20th Century. Reflecting the remarkable range of films that have touched the hearts and minds of millions of theater goers, the songs included will spark those special memories we all have from our favorite movies. From James Bond theme songs to Disney movie anthems, from Judy Garland's "Over the Rainbow" to Eminem's "Lose Yourself", there's something for everyone in this wonderful evening of song.

Annie
February 7 - 12
Holding onto hope when times are tough can take an awful lot of determination, and sometimes, an awful lot of determination comes in a surprisingly small package. Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theater goers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production—just as you remember it and just when we need it most.

Alice (in Wonderland)
February 10 - 19
From the fantastic imagination of choreographer Septime Webre comes ALICE (in wonderland). Webre infuses Lewis Carroll’s classic story with humor, color, and irreverence. It’s a visual spectacle with elaborate sets and over-the-top costumes, accompanied by a buoyant score from composer Matthew Pierce performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Follow the White Rabbit to Music Hall and meet the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat, but watch out for the Red Queen, or it’ll be off with your head!

The Love Triangle / An Evening of LOVE
February 17
The Love Triangle features a star-studded lineup of three acclaimed recording artists – Marsha Ambrosius, Raheem DeVaughn, and Keke Wyatt – performing an unforgettable evening of love songs.

Tax season is upon us. You, or someone you know, can help families by volunteering with United Way’s Free Tax Prep initiative.
Free Tax Prep is available to Greater Cincinnatians with low or moderate incomes. By volunteering to help families file their tax returns, you can play a pivotal role in ensuring they receive the refunds and tax credits they deserve. The Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit have helped reduce childhood poverty over the last 30 years.
United Way helped 7,000 people avoid more than $2 million in tax filing fees last year while collecting more than $11 million in refunds. You can help us continue to support families by volunteering with Free Tax Prep.
More information is available on our website. Please consider this opportunity to help our community thrive.

John Arthur Flats is now Pre-Leasing! John Arthur Flats is the first LGBTQ+ friendly 55+ senior affordable housing development in Cincinnati. It contains 57 newly constructed studio, 1- and 2-bedroom apartments affordable to seniors ranging from 30% AMI to 60% AMI. This 3-story elevator served building is in an ideal walkable location with easy access to the Northside business district, McKie Recreation Center and many other nearby amenities.
For many LGBTQ older adults, the social stigma they’ve experienced and the added stress of dealing with decades of discrimination can put them at greater risk of physical and mental illnesses, experiencing higher rates of poverty and suffering higher rates of housing discrimination. Innovative housing solutions like John Arthur Flats respond to this need, providing a safe and welcoming environment for seniors to age in place in community. All are welcome to apply!
