Mission, Vision, & Values Summit  If you would like to participate in discussing why we exist, what are the values that undergird our ministries, and where we want to go in our future you are invited to stay after our worship this coming Sunday for pizza and interaction.

Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study meets at 6:30 PM Wednesday evening. We will be watching the video by Dr. David Jeremiah entitled “Overcoming Evil With Good”.

Women’s Bible Study meets Thursday morning at 9:00 AM here at Discovery and will continue our study of the book of Romans. This week we will be watch the video and discuss Romans 1:1-17. Study guides ($10) will be available at our first meeting or you may pick one up from the office. This study is open to ALL women. Child care is available. 
Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Sunday, January 20, 5:00 PM here at Discovery Church. Music provided by members of the YHS A Capella Choir and Mt. Zion Baptist Mass Choir. A brief history of Yankton’s Black Community will be followed by soup, chili and fellowship.
Annual Meeting — January 27 at 5:00 PM. Complete details to follow.
Proposed Revisions to Discovery church By Laws have been completed and emailed to Covenant Members. These revisions will be discussed and voted on at the annual meeting January 27th. Hard copies are available at the front and back tables in the worship center. If you want a copy emailed to you please contact the church office.  
Eisenbraun Building The Design and Use Committee met and walked through the Eisenbraun Building sharing possible ideas on plans to utilize the building space. Everything is in the idea stage and they will wait until after February 1 closing before any action is taken. We will keep you informed regarding design and plans when they are determined. If you have not sent in your pledge or would like to contribute please do so by indicating so on the memo line of your check. Thanks to all who have so generously contributed so far.  
Ageless Wonders Birthday Club is seeking new members. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at a local restaurant for a meal, fun, and fellowship. Each person brings a birthday card for the birthday(s) of the month plus items for the Contact Center, Pathways Shelter for the Homeless or the women’s shelter.
