Wednesday Night Meal will resume at 5:30 PM Wednesday evening. You do not need to sign up - just come and eat. Free will donations accepted. This meal is available to the entire Discovery Family. Different groups will be preparing the meal. We plan to publish the menu ahead of time.

Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study meets at 6:30 PM Wednesday evening. We will be watching the video driven series by Dr. David Jeremiah entitled “Overcomer”.
Revival, for youth 6th grade - 12th grade, meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in "The Attic". Questions? Contact Aaron Hansen (605) 251-1485 or Doug Frederick (605) 660-0680.
Discovery Zone for Kids, for children age 4 through 5th grade, meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM in the basement. Questions? Contact the church office (605) 689-2211.
Women’s Bible Study will begin our new study of the book of Romans, Thursday morning at 9:00 AM here at Discovery. Study guides ($10) will be available at our first meeting or you may pick one up from the office. This study is open to ALL women. Child care is available. 
Mission, Vision & Values Summit Save the date for a Mission, Vision, and Values Summit at 1:00 PM, next Sunday, January 13, 2019. A light lunch will be provided. This is open to the entire Discovery family. If you plan to attend, please sign up at the back of the worship center. 
Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Sunday, January 20, 5:00 PM here at Discovery Church. Music provided by members of the YHS A Capella Choir and Mt, Zion Baptist Mass Choir. A brief history of Yankton’s Black Community will be followed by soup, chili and fellowship.
Eisenbraun Building We have signed a  purchase agreement  for the Eisenbraun building with a tentative closing date of February 1, 2019.  In order for us to achieve our goal of paying cash for this purchase we are asking those of you who have pledged funds for this purpose to begin sending them in. Please mark all pledge funds by indicating "pledge" on the memo line of the check. Checks can be put in the offering, dropped off at the church office, or mailed. If you want your financial gift to count for 2018 giving please be sure they are turned in by December 31.. If you did not fill out a pledge form but still want to give we will receive any contributions that are designated for the Eisenbraun building.
