• Please submit your Return to Learning form before August 5th.

• Purchase school supplies from our provided list. If you purchased and Edukit that was shipped to the school those will be distributed on August 8th.
• Have a device for each learner. (Great Hearts will provide a computer for you if you do not have one. If you missed our technology survey and still need a device please email us at info@greatheartsliveoak.org.)
• Make sure you student has a uniform.
• Continue to check your emails daily for important school updates.
• If you have not turned in a SIGNED registration packet or stopped by the office to turn in the required paperwork, you need to do so by the end of next week (8/7). If you would like to schedule an appointment to turn in your paperwork please use this link. If you have any questions please reach out to D'Ann Hart.
• Classics to Keep may be ordered as they are needed. (Teachers will provide advance notice as books are assigned and read.) Of course, you are always welcome to purchase the full set in advance. If you choose not to purchase the books one will be provided to you either in physical form or a PDF version. The first books to be read in Quarter 1 are:
• Kindergarten: Little Bear
• 1^st Grade: Frog and Toad are Friends
• 2^nd Grade: Sarah, Plain and Tall
• 3^rd Grade: Little House on the Prairie
• 4^th Grade: The Adventures of Robin Hood
• 5^th Grade: Grimm’s Fairy Tales
• 6^th Grade: Shane
• 7^th Grade: Fahrenheit 451
• Suggested, but not required, supplies are those which will help your child adapt to a remote learning environment such as a timer, earbuds or headphones, and a comfortable chair.
• Meet the Teacher will happen virtually August 10th and 11th, please look out for a sign up next week to reserve your families spot to zoom, one on one, with your child's teacher.
• If you have a student receiving Special Student Services who is on an IEP and is in need of a device please contact our Special Education Coordinator Brooke Lucero.
