A college and pro football star,
world-champion wrestler, military officer, and scholar who lived in the Jamestown area of Cherokee County and attended Gaylesville School. 
 Speakers were the Honorable Kenneth Gaddy, Executive Director Paul Bear Bryant Museum, University of Alabama, Senator Andrew Jones, Rep Ginny Shaver, Senator Steve Livingston, Judge Jeremy Taylor & David Hartline. The emcee for the dedication was Joey Weaver, WEIS Radio
