A support group for Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Men’s Group will be starting in March. It will be a 90 minute meeting twice a month on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. The meeting will be at the Treehouse at Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, on William Howard Taft Avenue near Corryville/UC. The cost of the program is $25 per session. Insurance won't be billed for these sessions, but receipts can be provided if participants want to seek reimbursement. FSA and HSA cards will be accepted.
The group is designed to provide an opportunity for men to meet with others and talk, share and learn. It’s not intended to be “drop in” so participants are asked to commit to a month at a time and agree to give one meeting’s notice before leaving the group.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park
Rosenthal Shelterhouse Theatre
English
presented by Ellen and Ray van der Horst
March 1 - 30
The 2023 winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama takes the Playhouse stage! The setting is 2008 Iran. Four Iranian adults gather in a classroom to learn English with the hopes of passing the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). Humor, word games and vulnerability abound as they use iconic early-2000s cultural touchstones, including Ricky Martin and rom-coms, to navigate the mechanics of language. But as Marjan, their Iranian-born English teacher, abolishes their native tongue from the classroom, questions and conflicts about identity seep slowly into their minds and hearts. Equal parts touching and funny, this new play from Sanaz Toossi offers a revelatory glimpse into the human desire to belong.

The Post Office
Saturday, March 22 @ 7:30pm
The Post Office is set in a one-room post office, where three U.S. postal workers and a customer from disparate backgrounds take sides in a blistering conflict centered around same-sex marriage. The formerly collegial friendship between the postmaster, who is Black and straight, and his colleague, who is white and gay, turns foul when the latter happily announces to the former his upcoming wedding. Taking place in the present day, with increasing hostility, toxicity, and violence playing out in the news, everyday exchanges become fraught: civil rights, reproductive rights, and LGBTQIA rights are challenged and threatened, and the sanctity of the postal service itself is at risk.
Tickets for the public performance of excerpts are FREE. Reservations are required; limit 2 per household.

Churchill
March 29 @ 2pm
March 29 @ 7:30pm
March 30 @ 2pm
Winston Churchill has just been awarded honorary U.S. citizenship by President John F. Kennedy. In recognition of this unprecedented occasion, The American-Oxford Society has asked the former Prime Minister to address them and discuss what this honor means to him.
In this often funny, sometimes touching, and always engaging one-man show created by British actor David Payne (author of An Evening with C.S. Lewis and Christmas with C.S. Lewis), Churchill will be brought to life on stage by David’s talented son, Daniel Payne.
Audiences will be delighted to hear of his exploits during the Boer War, his constant battles with Britain’s fellow politicians, and his special relationship with America and America’s presidents. But most telling of all, Churchill enlightens the audience with intimate and touching details of the two special women in his life—his wife Clementine and Queen Elizabeth.
With elements of The Crown and The Darkest Hour, Daniel Payne gives audiences an opportunity to spend an evening with one of the greatest historical figures in the world—Sir Winston Churchill.
