WOL Auction News:
Would you like to get a jump on your Christmas shopping while supporting Word of Life families at the same time? The Word of Life auction committee has the perfect opportunity for you as they will be hosting a vendor event at Word of Life on the day of the school Christmas programs. On December 9th, 12:15-3:30, come shop from vendors such as Perfectly Posh, Pampered Chef, and Tupperware to name a few. Purchase Christmas gifts or even donate an item to the upcoming Word of Life auction. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you there!
Timothy Lutheran's Christmas Market!
Timothy Lutheran Church is hosting the 3rd annual Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmas Market) on Saturday, December 1, 2018. The market will be open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the gated parking lot at Timothy Lutheran, 6704 Fyler Ave. There will be food & drink for all to purchase. Timothy's beer brewers will once again create a variety of savory suds to sample in your purchased stein.
Christmas Cookies! It's November, and when the air is cooler its time to turn on the oven and bake! So please bake a batch of cookies for the Christmas market cookie walk. Our cookie walk depends on everyone taking part. And if you bake early in the month, we'll freeze them! Call Cheryl O'Neill at 314-352-9309 if you have questions.
Advent Services and times
"God With Us" is the theme of our Advent Services this year! We are making some changes to the Advent schedule this year. We will continue to have an evening meal and service at 7:00 p.m. We are adding a service at 4:30 p.m. This will enable the "early service" worshippers to share the Advent meal and fellowship with those who attend the "late" service. At 11 a.m. we will continue to have a shortened Advent worship and Sing-a-long for those who need to travel during daylight hours.

Mark your calendars! December 9th Word of Life Christmas Program at the main campus - 6535 Eichelberger. 1:00 p.m.: PK - 3rd grade; 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. 4th - 8th grade.
Day of Praise and Thanksgiving for Pastor and Mary Anne Rall will take place on Sunday, July 7th. Will you help with the planning of this celebration day? If so, please contact the church office at 314-781-8673. A meeting will be held soon!
