October is Pastor Appreciation Month.  Let’s celebrate our ministry team by thanking God for their dedication and commitment to Timothy Church! Women in Mission would like to encourage everyone to sign up to pray for Pastor Wilson, Pastor Vo, Pastor Rall & Mary Anne in Papua New Guinea, DCE Mark Thompson, Vicar Cyril Loum and the call process on the calendar in the Narthex.
Saturday, November 3, 2018 LWML Zone Rally at Ascension Lutheran Church. Refreshments and coffee will be served beginning at 8:45 a.m. with devotions and program starting at 9:30 a.m. The featured speaker will be Grace Vanderhyde, missionary to Sri Lanke.
1. The food pantry is open the first and third Thursdays of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. If someone needs groceries from the pantry anytime other than the designated time for the pantry to be open, they will be permitted to go into the pantry ONLY WITH SUPERVISION. There is a list of items which the people may take, and there should be no exceptions to those items on the list. This is very necessary for the pantry staff so they can keep track of their inventory at all times. By following these guidelines, the staff will know what items are in short supply and what is needed to make sure there is enough available food on food pantry days.

2. The pantry is in need of contributions for buying items that are in short supply. If you would like to make a contribution, just put in an envelope marked “FOR FOOD PANTRY’ and drop in the offering plate.

3. If you would like to purchase items and drop in the box in the narthex of the church, here is a list of items which are always in short supply: toilet paper, canned fruit, canned chili, peanut butter, canned spaghetti sauce, canned tomatoes, canned tomato sauce, canned meat, canned soup, canned pork and beans, canned baked beans, and hot and cold cereal.
The pantry staff would like to thank everyone for their support of this ministry.
