A Note from Pastor Dinger

From the Pastor...

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

After great prayerful consideration I have decided to accept your call to serve you as your lead pastor. I see how the gifts that God has given to me can be a blessing as you reach your community and the world for Christ Jesus.

I am anxiously excited to begin working with you all in the years to come and growing together through our service... continue reading

CONNECT AT TIMOTHY

October is Pastor Appreciation Month
Le t's celebrate our ministry team by thanking Go d for their dedi cation and commitment at Timothy Church! Women in Mission would like to encourage everyone to sign up to pray for Pastor Wilson, Pastor Vo, Pastor Rall & Mary Anne in Papua New Guinea, DCE Mark Thompson, Vicar Cyril Loum and the call proc e ss on the calendar in the Narthex. Let our ministry team know via e-mail or tell them in person how you prayed for them. You can also ask them for special prayer requests. There is no greater way to support and encourage our ministry team than uplifting them in prayer.

Do you like a beautiful church? Will you use your talents to help make that happen? We are looking for individuals to work on the altar guild ministry. It's not at all difficult, and when it is your turn, it will only take about an hour a week. Please contact Carla Hagan or the church office if are able to help.

Are you missing a ring? There was one left in a bathroom last weeke  nd. Please call the church to identify so we can get it back to you.

T hank you all for your efforts with the All For Books donation boxes. We raised $51, which may not seem like much, but it made a difference. Word of Life was able to purchase 24 books for students who could not afford to buy anything from the Book Fair. In return for our efforts, Scholastic will be donating one book for every dollar raised (so that's 51 books!) to their charity. Please pass this information along to the congregations so that they can see that they helped buy 75 books for children. Maybe we can increase these numbers next year! Thank you again, Cary Jewell-Eldridge
