Please come and join us.

LWML Sunday October 7th is Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) Sunday. The congregation is encouraged to bring their "mites for missions" to be collected during the services. There are extra Mite Boxes in the Narthex.

 Notes from Council's September meeting:
1. A motion was made to add Jerry McCoy to the church's custodial staff. Jerry is a new member to our community, lives near Timothy and will be a great asset providing late night and weekend custodian services including light cleaning, setting up and tearing down tables and chairs, etc., as well as providing a "second" eye on our church campus making sure locks are secured and lights in the buildings are off. Please congratulate Jerry on his new position!
2. Please welcome another person to Timothy leadership, Scott Smithson was installed last Sunday in the 10:45 a.m. service are our newest Council member. Scott will replace Ed Ewertowksi who has asked to leave his position on Council. If you see Ed, please thank him for his service to Timothy's leadership team. Ed will remain active as our Property manager.
3.  Council wants to extend sincere gratitude and thanks to Marjorie Schmeerbauch, the church treasurer. Marjorie has spent countless hours on revamping policies and procedures related to church finances. We appreciate Marjorie because her reports are detailed yet streamlined to meet the needs of our church's financial reporting systems. If you see Marjorie please congratulate her on a very hard job that has been well done!
4. Council voted and approved a new financial policy and procedure involving the donation of Designated Gifts and Memorial Gifts. The new policy specifically states that monies donated to Timothy will be used only for the item that the donation was designated. The other new ruling, related to monetary donations to Timothy, was that all new restricted funds will now need approval of the finance team before that line is created in the budget. If you need more information regarding this new policy, there are copies of the policy in the narthex.

Congratulations Pastor Zeigler who was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel United States Air Force on Friday, September 28, 2018 .

Painting Help Needed! October is Pastor Appreciation Month Let’s celebrate our ministry team by thanking God for their dedication and commitment at Timothy Church! Women in Mission would like to encourage everyone to sign up to pray for Pastor Wilson, Pastor Vo, Pastor Rall & Mary Anne in Papua New Guinea, DCE Mark Thompson, Vicar Cyril Loum and the call process on the calendar in the Narthex. Let our ministry team know via e-mail or tell them in person how you prayed for them. You can also ask them for special prayer requests. There is no greater way to support and encourage our ministry team than uplifting them in prayer.

Caring Ministry is in need of volunteers to help input their contact list into an excel document. If you are able to help please contact Cyril Loum or the church office.
