Volunteer Opportunity - Reflections Chair
A Sincere & Urgent Request

Tesla STEM PTSA is looking for a volunteer to assist with this year's Reflections Program. We have a team of volunteers, but we are looking for a chairperson/leader who can coordinate this program (artistic experience is not necessary). The Reflections Program is a National PTA and Washington State PTA cultural arts competition which provides an opportunity for our scholars to use their creative talents through expression of their own original works.
Tasks Include:
  • Coordinate volunteers to enter participant information and assist in preparing projects for submission.
  • Help secure judges from the community to score projects based on the pre-generated scorecards & criteria set by the National PTA.
  • Coordinate student recognition for participants, including ordering ribbons/certificates.
Please email [email protected] if you are interested.
Your Annual Contributions - Your Impact

PTSA uses your annual contribution in support of all Tesla STEM scholars through grants and scholarships made to the school. Your past contributions have supported a unique education at Tesla STEM HS through the purchase of:
  • 3D printers
  • iRiS fluorescent microscope
  • Maker station
  • Subscriptions to Spanish language magazines and current events magazines
  • Kilns
  • much more
A big thank you to all the families who made an annual contribution this year. And to those who are still considering, your contribution will help bring in professional, industry-level equipment for the use of all our scholars. You can contribute today via the PTSA website. It is only through your generosity that we will be able to continue to fund grants and scholarships benefitting our scholars. Thank you!

PTSA is here to help!

Tesla STEM PTSA believes that financial need shouldn't be a barrier to students fully participating in the Tesla STEM HS curriculum. To support that, the PTSA has partnered with the school counselors and Principal to provide scholarship funds to students in need.

Families who need help with fees and supplies are encouraged to contact their counselor at STEM with their requests.

Confidentiality of such requests is strictly maintained - requests are considered by the school and no one at PTSA knows the names of the requestors.

Please don't hesitate to contact the counselors, if PTSA can help.
