Next Week! Monthly Spice Club
Each month will feature a different spice or spice mix from around the world. The spice kit will include a small amount of the spice, some recipes, and a bit of background about the spice's use. Spice kits can be reserved through the library catalog and picked up at the library while supplies last.

The October spice blend is Baharat. This spice blend is used in Persian cuisine and other Middle Eastern dishes to flavor lamb, chicken, beef, sweet potatoes, and more.

Join us for a Zoom “Spice Chat” with special guest Nicole Gagliardi, owner of The Spice and Tea Exchange in Portsmouth, Wednesday, October 27 at 10:30 AM. Share your opinions & experiences with this month’s spice mix.
Hudson Community Fright Ride!!
The 2nd Annual HUDSON COMMUNITY FRIGHT RIDE
On Spooky Saturday October 23, 2021 (rain date is October 24)
For Hudson residents ONLY, 5:30pm-9:00pm
Located at the Hudson Speedway

This is a drive through event geared towards grades K-5th. There will be a ton to see from Police Department vehicles, Fire Department vehicles and trucks, monster trucks, and more! Goody bags will be handed out to registered children.

Candy donations are urgently needed!
Bags of candy are very welcome! If you wish to donate, please bring your donation to the Circulation Desk anytime before Thursday, October 21 during our regular operating hours so we can fill our goody bags.

Virtual Bestselling Author Program: Jeffrey Archer Discusses "Over My Dead Body"

"Over My Dead Body" is an unputdownable story of murder, revenge and betrayal from international number one bestseller Jeffrey Archer. This Zoom program is presented in partnership with the Tewksbury, MA Public Library. Participants in this program will be entered to win a signed copy of the book.

Page Turners: Treehouse Drawing and Book Discussion
Monday, October 25 @ 4pm

This program meets twice a month. At both meetings we will do different acitivities relating to the world of the book (games, crafts, snacks, etc.) as well as discuss it. Grades 1-5. 

We will be drawing our own dream treehouses and discussing the book The 13-Story Tree House. Copies are available to pick up in the Children's Room. 
Adventurers Storytime: Halloween

Sing-along at Fairview Senior Living

Come join library staff for a sing along with the residents at The Inn at Fairview, 203 Lowell Road Hudson. Come in the main entrance, on the side of the building closest to Market Basket, before 2pm and take the elevator downstairs to the program room. Song books with lyrics are provided.
