Iconic masters of the Tejano style called conjunto, Lorenzo Martinez (accordion) and Ramon "Rabbit" Sanchez (bajo sexto) will share their music and many wonderful stories about this rich tradition of Mexican-American music. This is a rare opportunity to hear these Texas musicians outside of their home state. Scholar and festival organizer Dr. Dan Margolies, who has worked with these musicians and been involved with the Texas music folk music scene for many years, will be on hand to moderate and provide historical and cultural context.
