FROM THE MASSACHUSETTS LEGISLATURE
Rep. Meschino Votes With House Colleagues to Pass HERO Act and Honors Veterans for Memorial Day
This month, the House of Representatives passed H.4671 An Act honoring, empowering, and recognizing our servicemembers and veterans, otherwise known as the HERO Act. The HERO Act makes necessary changes to our veteran services that will improve the quality of life for those who have served our Commonwealth and our country, and I look forward to the final implementation of this critical piece of legislation in the coming months of the Legislative Session.
In honor of Memorial Day, I walked in Hull’s yearly parade with Hull officials and local organizations to honor the sacrifice of our Veterans. I hope that you and your loved ones had a reflective and meaningful Memorial Day--may we always remember the service of our armed forces for our country.
