For just $10, you can adopt and name your own baby salmon, receive an adoption certificate, and capture the moment with a special photo on “release” day!

Your adoption also supports the upkeep of our three tanks—tortoise, saltwater, and salmon—so it’s a win for our whole aquatic community!

KIDS' PRE-AUCTION PARTY

Thursday, March 27th

Our students have been earning Kids' Auction Money since September. Next week is our last Auction Money Week of the school year. What do they do with all of their earnings?

Young elementary students are introduced to the concept of financial planning — 50% of their Auction Money earnings goes into a savings account and 50% goes into spending at the “Kids Pre-Auction Party.” This is the student substitute for the Annual Benefit Auction, which is limited to 8th grade graduates and older.

This highly-anticipated event occurs on THURS, March 27th. Popular auction items are toys, science kits, stickers, and t-shirts. The most coveted items are the certificates. These include lunch out with a teacher and a friend, teaching a lesson to your class, and canceling corrections on one assignment (not math!).

The remainder of the morning is spent playing board games and card games. We also enjoy a community fruit and veggie break! If you would like to donate a fruit or veggie tray or a cheese and cracker tray, please contact Mr. Liou.

In the afternoon, we'll head out for Glo-Golf at Zap Zone in Canton. Afterward, we will return to school to enjoy some video shorts while finishing off our morning snacks. Dismissal will be at the normal time.

It’s easy to enroll in Kroger’s Community Rewards Program. It takes just a few minutes to create an account and choose Steppingstone School (program number 91312) as your organization.

This is a passive fund-raiser which means you just have to sign up for Steppingstone to receive a percentage of what you spend. It costs nothing to help Steppingstone receive those dollars!  … just shop as usual, and thank you!

PS.  You need to renew participation each year.
