Adopt-a-Salmon and

Support Our Students Today!

This year, Steppingstone students are diving into a hands-on learning experience with the Salmon-in-the-Classroom project again! Through this exciting program, students are exploring the fascinating life cycle of salmon—from eggs to fry to adult fish—while gaining a deeper appreciation for ecological systems and conservation efforts.

Come spring, the students will embark on a special journey to release their salmon into the Detroit River, contributing to the restoration of local waterways. But that’s not all—Steppingstone is inviting the community to join in on the fun! For just $10, you can "Adopt-a-Salmon”. As an adopter, you’ll receive a personalized certificate naming your fish and the satisfaction of supporting this unique educational program.

Proceeds from the "Adopt-a-Salmon" campaign will help maintain the school’s tanks, which house a variety of life, including salmon, a saltwater ecosystem, and even tortoises!

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this fin-tastic adventure. Contact us today at 248-957-8200 to adopt your salmon and support Steppingstone students in their mission to learn and grow!

MSU TOLLGATE EVENT --

Holiday at the Farm

MSU Tollgate are hosting a "Holiday on the Farm" program on Saturday, December 6th, between 10 am and 4 pm. It will include wagon rides, visits with the farm animals, seasonal crafts like cookie decorating, holiday-themed photo opportunities, kid-friendly games and activities, and access to a small holiday-themed Makers' Market, in addition to the obligatory visit from Santa.

If you're interested, buying your tickets ahead is the better deal: $10/adult and $5/kid, as opposed to $12/adult and $8/kid at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit:
