Grand Opening - Dig Deep Farms Regenerative Farming Project at Ardenwood Historic Farm
On August 17, DSAL and Dig Deep Farms celebrated the Grand Opening of the Dig Deep Farms Regenerative Farming Project at Ardenwood Historic Farm. This farm is dedicated to supporting a new, regenerative, circular food economy in Alameda County. The successful opening marks a huge step in the work towards supporting the community, safety, and wellness in the unincorporated areas.

Splash into the HARD Foundation Golf Tournament. Join for an exciting day of golf to support H.A.R.D. Aquatics as well as water safety and wellness. This fun day of giving and 9 holes of golf supports a great cause in our community!

Twilight Tasting

Spectrum Community Services is partnering with Page Mill Winery to host a fundraising event benefitting low-income families and seniors living in Alameda County.

Join on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at 4:30-8:00 pm, for a wonderful evening on the outdoor patio at Page Mill Winery in Livermore.

Page Mill Winery will donate $10 of each tasting fee, as well as 10% of proceeds from sales that evening to Spectrum.

Tasting tickets cost $15 per person and can be purchased when you arrive.

19th Annual Healthy Living Festival

The United Seniors of Oakland, Alameda County, and Alameda County Supervisor Nate Miley present the 19th Annual Healthy Living Festival. The Healthy Living Festival is a free event for older adults, 55 and above, living in Alameda County. This annual event promotes health and wellness for Aging Adults and includes free food, music, fun, and more. Join to take a collective action to improve the quality of life for seniors throughout Alameda County. Together, we can make a positive change! Friends and family of guests are welcome to attend and must be registered in advance.

Wondering what to do every Sunday? Enjoy live music, refreshments, and chalk art drawing for kids in the park. This event is jointly sponsored by H.A.R.D. and Hayward Odd Fellows Sycamore Lodge 129 to support music and arts in the community.

Each workshop will prepare you to complete the following documents by the end of the workshop:

1. Lean business plan (first and easier step toward building a business plan)

2. Ideal customer profile (helps to support branding, marketing, and sales strategy)

5. ONE token to complete Food Handlers or Managers certification OR support towards Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) Training
