HHPNC Attends Ribbon Cutting
HHPNC at the ribbon cutting ceremony at San Pascual Park unveiling the new playground, basketball court and fitness area. Next phase will include remodeled bathrooms. Go check it out!

We also have San Pascual STEAM Magnet showing off their cheerleading skills! It’s all about the next generation.

Upcoming Events

Vamos a Pescar! Let's go fishing! We'll be giving fishing poles to youngsters to learn to fish, helping to rig up their rods, and demonstrating fishing techniques. On May 19th and 20th we'll be rigging up our fishing poles and learning about knots and river conservation. On May 26th and May 27th we'll be fishing at the Bowtie parcel of Los Angeles River State Park. Join us for both days to get your free fishing rod and reel! Download the FACT SHEET here.

Part of the three Lummis Days poetry workshops. This one will be led by Erika  Ayón . Just bring a notebook and leave with a completed poem. All experience levels, all ages are welcome and participation is free. The 13th annual Lummis Days, June 1, 2 and 3, will include poetry, music, dance, film and puppets at five NortheastLA locations. With music and movies, puppets and poems, Lummis Days offers a rainbow of arts, community activity and history by and for Northeast Los Angeles as the 13th annual event is presented, June 1, 2 and 3 at four NELA locations: Occidental College, York Boulevard & Ave. 50, Lummis Home, Sycamore Grove Park. There are also two complementary exhibits at the Southwest Museum. Admission to all Lummis Days events is always free. An Arroyo EDventure - Summer Camp 2018
A nature and place-based exploration for ages 7-12!
The Audubon Center at Debs Park and  Panther Ridge Farm  have partnered to present: An Arroyo EDventure Summer Camp 2018! Each week, children ages 7-12 will explore within the 282 acres of grasslands, woodlands, and coastal sage scrub that make up Ernest E. Debs Park. With more than 140 bird species and over 100 native plant species, there’s never a dull day at Debs!

Metro is reimagining its bus system for the next generation. The NextGen Bus Study will redesign a new bus system that is more relevant and attractive to the residents of LA County.
