President's Message
Greetings Highland Park Community!

Happy blazing hot July to all of you! I hope your 4th of July was an enjoyable and safe one this year with your loved ones. As we can all agree that family and community matters, which makes getting together during special holidays and events important for our overall well being. Our community connects us and gives us our sense of place. Living in community means being a part of something bigger than oneself and creating space within nature and our urban surroundings for people, families, and local economy. HHPNC believes in this and more. READ MORE HERE

Mayor Garcetti's Weekly Report
We’ve all heard the heartbreaking stories from the border, as thousands of children have been separated from families that risked everything to try and build new lives in America.

Here in Los Angeles we’re standing up, speaking out, and doing something about it. That’s why I was proud to work with the City Council to  open our L.A. Justice Fund to separated children and their families. This public-private partnership was created to assist people who are facing deportation and cannot afford legal assistance — and will now help children and parents who have been separated and are currently residing or detained in the L.A. area.  READ MORE
