Prelude How Can I Keep From Singing
Greeting and Hymn
Call To Worship/Opening Prayer
Creating, beckoning, loving God, We invoke our heightened attentiveness that you are with us, within us, and beyond us. We praise you that you never give up on us. We acknowledge we are a stiff-necked people who get stuck without ever intending it. So now we breathe in of your life-transforming spirit and celebrate that you prod and lure us to adventures in living and ministry that are beyond what we can imagine. You, who patiently await our willingness to trust you, offer a deep well of living water, forever springing up. Open us up! Help us to see in all your creation your intention for diversity. Help us to hear in all languages your desire for beloved community. Help us to embrace and understand in all expressions of faithfulness how wide is your love, grace, and vision. We open ourselves to your prompting...to your grace...to your heart. Oh how you love all you are creating. We are grateful O Holy One. Amen.
Confession and Pardon
Spirit of God, we confess that we put on airs more often than we put on the armor of God. We are guilty of girding ourselves with lies instead of the truth. We try to protect ourselves with arrogance, superstition, and self-reliance instead of righteousness, faith, and your gift of salvation. Our footsteps do not follow your path of peace. And we are quick to use your Word to attack one another, instead of striking out against the sins we personally commit. Forgive us, Holy God. Gift us with the wisdom and strength to change our ways, so that we may live as your faithful ambassadors of the Good News
Pardon
The apostle Paul wrote in Romans that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us and that proves God’s love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ we are Forgiven. Glory to God. Amen

Jesus said: I am the bread of life. All who come to me shall not hunger, and all who believe in me shall not thirst. With Christians around the world and throughout the centuries, we gather around these symbols of bread and wine—simple elements that speak of nourishment and transformation.
Let us pray.
Loving God, we thank you that you are as close to us as breath, that your love is constant and unfailing. We thank you for all that sustains life, and especially for Jesus Christ, who teaches us how to live out an ethic of justice and peace, and for the promise of transformation made manifest in his life, death and resurrection. We ask you to bless this bread and this cup. Through this meal, make us the body of Christ, that we may join with you in promoting the well-being of all creation. Amen.
We remember on the night when Jesus and the disciples had their last meal together, Jesus took the bread, gave thanks, and gave it to the disciples, saying “This is my body, which is broken for you. Take and eat it, and as often as you do, remember me.”
[Distribution of the bread.]
In the same way he took the cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to the disciples, saying: “Drink this, all of you. This cup is the new covenant, poured out for you and for many Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.
[Distribution of the wine.]
Let us pray.
We give thanks, loving God, that you have refreshed us at your table. Strengthen our faith; increase our love for one another. As we have been fed by the seed that became grain, and then became bread, may we go out into the world to plant seeds of justice, transformation, and hope. Amen.
Closing Hymn I’ve Got Peace Like a River

Come by here, my Lord, come by here. O Lord, come by here.
Someone’s prayin’, Lord, come by here. O Lord, come by here,
Someone’s cryin’ Lord, come by here. O Lord, come by here.
In the morning, Lord, in the evening, Lord, in my waking, Lord,
In my sleeping, Lord, in my pleading, Lord,
Waiting, caring, Lord, in my loving, Lord, blessing, grieving, hoping,
In my longing, falling, hiding, rising,
In my healing, aching, laughing, praising, Lord,
In my seeking, finding, breathing, dying, Lord,
You are here.
Come By here, my Lord. O Lord, you are here.
