We are giving tours on Saturday, February 27th for any families who wish to learn more about our school. If you know anyone who would like a tour of our school, the sign up is found here.

We currently have 36 new families who have applied to Saint Joan of Arc Catholic School.
The 2021 Food Drive for Catholic School's Week
We collected approximately 3,800 lbs of food! The response was amazing!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your generous donations to the food pantry. There are so many people who are in need at this time and your donations are so appreciated.
Sports and Extracurricular Activities
at SJA During COVID-19
The IDPH has recently updated its guidance regarding sports. It has been decided that we will not resume sports at this time. This is true of all extracurricular activities including drama, chess club, band, cheerleading, and afterschool art. This decision was made based on many factors such as space, carpool restrictions, mixing students, inviting others into our building, contact tracing, cleaning protocol, and more.

I know how important sports are not only to your child but the greater community as well. Please know that my own children participated in sports throughout grade school, high school, and two were collegiate varsity swimmers and I understand your disappointment.

Many of our Catholic Schools in the area are not participating in sports at this time. However, there are a few schools that have chosen to participate in girls' volleyball as that is the only sport that has been approved thus far by the Diocese of Joliet.
Saints of God Student Book
Dear Parents,

One of the great beauties of Catholic Education is that it is rooted in our Catholic Faith. And one of the treasures of the Catholic Faith is our love of the Saints! This year, each classroom in St Joan of Arc School has been assigned a Patron Saint and the students have grown in their interest and knowledge of that holy man or woman. Every class did some sort of “project” in an effort to learn about their classroom Saint. We have put together a book that includes many samples of the student work that was completed in that effort. There is information about each Saint as well as drawings, colored coloring pages, and pictures of some of the classroom Saint projects. It is now available for purchase -- hard or softcover -- using this link: https://store.shopyearbook.com/2020-saint-book

We hope you will consider purchasing this book to have in your home as a reminder of all the Saints of God who are protecting the students at St Joan of Arc School.

All you Saints in Heaven…...pray for us!
