SCOUTING SAFELY - PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Sometimes you just say “no” to an activity when you “know” the program of the Boy Scouts of America. So, did you “know” there are activities and programs that should NOT be part of any Scouting experience? Or that there are limits for when some activities should be introduced? How you can find out about them and why they are on the “list” are what this safety moment is about.

2021 DAY CAMP / CUB RESIDENT CAMP BROCHURE
The Housatonic Council will be following COVID-19 measures in 2021, to keep our campers, families and staff safe.

In 2021, we look ahead with optimistic anticipation to a new scouting year. We maintain optimism with the realization there are more hurdles to clear in the months ahead. As challenges, new or old are presented, the Housatonic Council will persevere, and we will continue to meet them.

We are planning and anticipate holding our Cub Scout summer camp programs. On behalf of myself and the entire summer camp staff, welcome!

2021 SUMMER CAMP EMPLOYMENT
We are planning to hold summer camp in the summer of 2021 depending on the State of Connecticut's Guidelines for Summer Camps.

As we prepare for this expectation we need to hire summer camp staff. In 2021 we are trying to make the process easier. We will have one application and you can apply for either Cub Day Camp or Camp Strang Summer Camp or both. If you have any questions about the application please contact the Housatonic Council office at 203-734-3329 x 302.
