2021 SUMMER CAMP EMPLOYMENT
As you receive this Constant Contact, we are planning to hold summer camp in the summer of 2021 depending on the State of Connecticut's Guidelines for Summer Camps.

As we prepare for this expectation we need to hire summer camp staff. In 2021 we are trying to make the process easier. We will have one application and you can apply for either Cub Day Camp or Camp Strang Summer Camp or both. If you have any questions about the application please contact the Housatonic Council office at 203-734-3329 x 302.

2021 CAMP STRANG SUMMER CAMP BROCHURE
2021 The Housatonic Council is anticipating holding summer resident camp in 2021. We are awaiting official information from the State of Connecticut.

However, there is no time like the present to share the 2021 Summer Camp Brochure for Camp Strang.

The Cub Scout Day Camp / Resident Camp Brochure is in editing and will be available soon.

VISIT THE NORMAN ROCKWELL AMERICAN SCOUTING COLLECTION AT THE MEDICI MUSEUM OF ART
The American Scouting Collection, a new exhibition featuring Rockwell originals as well as BSA-themed works by other artists, is now open to visitors at the Medici Museum of Art in Warren, Ohio. The new exhibition marks the first time in history that all 65 of Rockwell’s Scouting paintings have been displayed at the same place and time with a unique app-guided experience that enables visitors to view the collection one painting at a time using your phone and headphones.

The Medici is located halfway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh – about a day’s drive for 40% of the U.S. population. It is easily accessible from the Ohio and Pennsylvania Turnpikes, as well as I-80 and I-90, both of which are connected by Ohio State Route 11 with an exit near the Museum.
