Empowering & Preparing Parents for their child's IEP

Healthy Habits in Action: Create your own Visual Schedule! February 6
We had an engaging, hands-on workshop for families with children under 5 in collaboration with Child Care Resource Center and UCLA Health. Families created and took home personalized visual schedules to help support their child’s hygiene routines. It was a collaborative and interactive morning filled with learning, creativity, and connection. Thank you to all the families who joined us at the CCRC offices in Sylmar!

Families came together for an in-person meeting, sharing a meal and connecting through the Heart Phrases Reflection activity. Laughter, tears, and meaningful conversations highlighted the gathering. Parents exchanged resources and support, reminding everyone that we are not alone.
