City Council

The full City Council does not formally meet again until Monday, June 8, 2020 at 7:00 pm when it will begin budget deliberations.

Public Safety & Transportation Committee

The Public Safety & Transportation Committee held a virtual meeting on Thursday, May 28, 2020 and recommends approval the following item:

#256-20 Transfer $100,000 for new Police Cruisers.

Land Use Committee

The Land Use Committee will hold a virtual meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 7:00 pm. To view this meeting click HERE at the above date and time. The Committee will be discussing the following items:

#145-20 Petition to allow accessory apartment exceeding 1,000 sq. ft. at 169 Hunnewell Avenue.

#564-18(3) Petition to amend Special Permit #564-18(2) at 17-31 and 39 Herrick Road.

Chair's Note: The discussion and presentation for the following items will be relative to Transportation:

#26-20 Request to Rezone Approximately 4.4 acres to MU-3 to Create a Contiguous MU-3 Zone.

#27-20 Petition to allow Mixed Use Transit Oriented Development at Riverside Station.

Public Facilities Committee

The Public Facilities Committee held a virtual meeting on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 and recommends approval of the following items:

#255-20 Transfer $400,000 to the DPW Roads Program.

#234-20 5-58 for the Oak Hill Middle School at 130 Wheeler Road.

Zoning & Planning Committee

The Zoning & Planning Committee will hold a virtual meeting on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 7:00 pm. To view this meeting click HERE at the above date and time. The Committee will be discussing the following items:

#88-20 Discussion and review relative to the draft Zoning Ordinance.

#38-20 Request for discussion relative to single-family attached dwellings.

#148-20 Request to amend Chapter 30 to eliminate parking minimums.

Finance Committee

Comptroller FY21 Budget

Human Resources FY21 Budget

Financial Inf. Systems FY21 Budget

#256-20 Transfer $100,000 for new Police Cruisers.

#255-20 Transfer $400,000 to the DPW Roads Program.

#253-20 Transfer $30,000 for Citywide Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) Installation project.

#260-20 Authorization to expend a MassDOT grant in the amount of $80,000.

#261-20 Accept six Bike Share Stations from MetroFutures Inc.
