This month's notebook features some
great
How To's

, how to listen to music in a way that lets you
command your band and audience
, how to "
hip sing
," and, in the neurology department, how
your brain works
when you have stage fright. Also a couple of singer-y
news items
and a singer who is a scary-good diva mimic!

You may not listen this way, but most of your students do. Understand this one simple thing, and change their lives!

|
The Science of Stage Fright...

Hip Singing: A Primer
Super-cute and super-hip Madeline Roberts demos, and labels, all those funny "isms" that we keep hearing from indy singers.
|
|
|
|
Dave Ruch tells how he made $1550
in one,
not unusual
, day. Dave plays school concerts, and loves his work. What singer wouldn’t? Creating art that matters, singing to enraptured audiences, and getting paid well. Does it get any better?

|
Katrina Velarde imitates a string of pop divas.
Crazy good!
