Greetings!

We are so excited about all that has been going on at Banana Bank that we just can't wait to share it with you and get all your responses and feedback either by email or on our facebook page!! Below are pictures of the installation of our new dome!! This is a real live observatory for the 16" inch computerized telescope. We are very excited to share this new feature with you so come to Banana Bank and tour Belize during the day and the universe at night!!!!

Belmopan Humane Society auction

The Belmopan Humane Society held their 4th Annual Valentine's Cocktail Party which was a howling success! This allows them to continue to provide subsidized spay/neuter clinics, assistance and support to the residents and their pets, and help as many abandoned pets on the streets as possible. Pictured above are some of the auction donations including a Carolyn Carr Blue Slippers giclee. Kudos to Lily and Dewey for their years of dedication!!

Tropic Air starts flights to Cancun soon!
Effective March 25th, 2013, Tropic Air will launch 6 weekly flights (daily except for Saturday) between Belize City's Phillip Goldson International Airport (BZE) and Aeropuerto Internacional de Canc�n, Mexico (CUN). Tickets are on sale now through March 24, 2013 at an introductory fare of $309 round trip from Belize City to Cancun for travel between March 25th, 2013 and December 15th, 2013. (Fuel surcharge, taxes and other conditions may apply). Cancun is Tropic's first destination in Mexico and its third international route. Last year, Tropic added Belize City to San Pedro Sula, Honduras service to complement its existing daily Belize City to Flores, Guatemala route. This is in addition to its 11 domestic destinations within Belize.
