Jubilate Choir: Rehearses Wednesday, 6:45 PM
Jubilate choir, a mixed ensemble intended for ALL singers regardless of musical training and age, is starting weekly rehearsals on Wednesday at 6:45PM!!! The cherished ensemble will start preparing special anthems for autumn; then begin Christmas Cantata rehearsals in October. Please help spread the invitation to new members, cherished longtime members, and even non-churched community members who love to sing! We encourage newcomers always and eagerly welcome your participation. Rehearsal CD's will be distributed to aid in learning. Did you know that when we sing songs to God, He sings back to us?!? Zephaniah says that, "He will rejoice over you with singing" (Zephaniah 3:17). When God sings over you, His poetry in motion turns the "minor" notes of your life into a symphony of HOPE!!! Contact John Ivan at for more information.
The Bells of Immanuel
Immanuel's celebrated handbell choir rings recognizable church music, including traditional repertoire, classical sacred literature, and more recent compositions. The Bells of Immanuel rehearse on Sundays from 9:15-10:15AM downstairs in the music room. No musical training is necessary!!! If you can't commit to every Sunday, talk to director Ellen Hanson about being a bell substitute ringer! Contact Ellen at if you are interested or just show up for rehearsal. She will show you how to ring and which part to read.
Special Music
Special music offerings throughout the year offer depth and variety to worship, and allow numerous people an opportunity to share their musical gifts at Immanuel. We are blessed through solos, duets, special anthems, and Sunday School Singers that inspire and bring us to tears! Vocalists and instrumentalists are encouraged to share their God given talents as musical offerings. Please contact John Ivan at to schedule a time to share your unique gifts at Immanuel!
Prayer Requests
We appreciate all of your prayer requests each week! We want to continue praying for all individuals because we know how powerful prayer is in the lives of so many. It has been a struggle to keep the list up to date, so we have come up with a plan to keep the list current from month to month. On the first of the new month, we will restart the prayer list. If someone needs to stay on the list, just let Brenda know by using the worship card found in the weekly bulletin, calling the church office (262.248.4211), emailing Brenda at, or dropping off a note in the church office. We want your requests, so we can continue praying for those in need. Contact Brenda if you have any questions.
Worship Schedule Sign-up

Journey Through Grief Group Support Group
A grief support group is being offered this fall, tentatively starting in October and running for 7 weeks.  Meetings are anticipated to take place from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Immanuel on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.  This is a spiritually and Bible based group whose purpose is to walk together through the difficult times of the loss of a precious family member or dear friend.  While we will "never get over" the loss of a loved one, our goal is to learn to cope with and become reconciled to the losses that inevitably occur in life.  When we grieve and mourn well and in a healthy manner we will be able to transform our grief experiences into a productive, vital life that continues to be sustained by cherished memories and the hope and promises our faith gives us.  Those best served by this group will have experienced the loss at least three months ago.  There are no restrictions to losses that have occurred some time ago.  Participation will be limited to twelve people with a minimum of four needed to offer the group.   ALL are are not required to be a member of Immanuel.    A small donation is requested to cover the costs of materials.  Contact Evie Schulz at church by if you are interested or if you have questions.   262-203-0463; 262-728-6542;

+ Immanuel Lutheran, I wanted to thank all the ladies and gentlemen that helped make my mom's celebration of life so very special. I also want to thank everyone for welcoming her into the church 10 months ago. She was so scared to walk in as she was afraid no one would like her. But everyone was warm and she got to see what unconditional love from stranger was like. You all helped make her last year on this earth happier and for that I thank you. Pauline Bishop
